This ancestral house was known at the time for offering shelter to travellers, particularly the neighbourhood beggars. That's why the Baie-Saint-Paul residents named it The Beggar's House.

True to this tradition of hospitality, Claude and Marie Lou now have the pleasure of welcoming you.

The bedrooms are all decorated with great care and offer you comfort and peacefulness. They all overlook the St. Lawrence River. Three of them have a private bathroom and two a patio door offering a view of the river.

The living room has kept its olden day charm. Your hosts greet you around a crackling fire. As time goes by, they will share a warm friendship with you.

The large terrace overlooking the majestic St. Lawrence River allows you to take in the beautiful view which you never tire of. Come and taste our home-made and regional products while admiring the reflection of the rising sun on the water.
